2021 Piping Plover Chicks Naming Contest
Monty and Rose have returned to the Montrose Beach Dunes to nest for their third straight year. A nest with eggs was confirmed on May 12.
In 2020, Monty and Rose fledged three chicks that were named Hazel, Esperanza and Nish in an inclusive naming contest. You can read more about the names here.
